End Assembly

The upper leg assembly has slots on all four side, and a 90° bracket pre-attached at the top. The cross rail has two slots on adjacent side. Note the orientation of the slots on the cross rail – one faces down, one toward the inside of the frame. Colored dots can be matched. The black attachment bar should easily slide into the cross rail. The hex-head attachment screws may be loosened as necessary. (Image 1)

Slide the cross rail until the edge is exactly even with the corner of the bracket. Snug the hex-head screws using the included tool, then recheck the alignment. Adjust if necessary, then firmly tighten the screws. Repeat for each color-matched corner. (Image 2). This will give you two end assemblies as shown below. (Image 3)

Side Rail Assembly

The two rails are fully assembled, with sling attachments pre-installed.

*Assembly is easier with two people! *

Position the end assemblies with the rail slots  facing together. They may be assembled one end at a time, or together. The side rail is fitted into the end assembly by sliding the black attachment bar into the color coded slot. Snug the hex-head screws using the included tool, then recheck the alignment. Adjust if necessary, then firmly tighten the screws. Repeat for each color-matched corner. The fit is tight and may require gentle tapping to seat flush against the end assembly leg. Repeat for the opposite side.

Installation of feet / casters / wheels

Two complete sets of accessories are included, and differ only in length. All are installed in the same manner.

Attached two of the enclosed plastic knobs into the threaded portion of the black attachment bar. The threads should not extend past the back of the bar.

The legs or wheels may be attached by inserting the black attachment bars into the upper leg. Assure that the joint is carefully aligned, and the rails are in full contact. Note that the fixed feet should be oriented so that the long section is in line with the side rails. Casters or wheels should be installed in pairs on the narrow end of the standing frame.

With the joint held carefully in alignment, hand tighten each knob fully. Over time, the black mounting bar will flex slightly, causing them to be difficult to install or remove. This is easily fixed by placing the assembly on a solid surface, and lightly tapping the attachment bar with a hammer. This lightly flexes the bar, allowing more clearance for assembly. It does not in any way weaken the bar, or the ability of it to hold the parts together.
